CPT for 2 Automated Urine Analyzers Leasing Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting NCO-7, 501 Greene St., Augusta, GA., intends to award a Sole Source, firm fixed price contract to Beckman Coulter, INC., 250 Kraemer Blvd, Brea, CA, 92821, to provide Cost Per Test Lease agreement for Upgraded Automated Urinalysis equipment, to the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center (CNVAMC), Augusta GA. The current system will be upgraded due to increased patient count. The cost per test agreement period of performance is October 1, 2017 September 30, 2018 plus four option years. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures and Statutory Authority 6.302-1 -Only One Responsible Source and no other Supplies or Services Will satisfy Agency Requirements. See attached justification and Approval. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements in lieu of a sole source contract described in this notice, and such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. The Government will not pay for information submitted.
