VMware Subcription Service

The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL is seeking quotes from GSA vendors for the renewal of VMware Horizon, VMware vCenter, and VMware vSphere annual license support/subscriptions. The support/subscriptions include technical support, emergency telephone consultation, 24x7 availability, support of 250 concurrent connections, online access to documentation, product updates, and upgrades. The purchase request includes specific quantities of each product and the delivery address is provided as Mr. Martin Romig at LeMay Center, Maxwell AFB, AL. Only quotes from GSA vendors will be accepted for this requirement.

The schedule of supplies/services includes the following items: U.S. Federal VMware Horizon View 8 Standard Edition (24 packs), U.S. Federal Production Support/Subscription for VMware vCenter Server 6 Standard (3 units), and U.S. Federal Production Support/Subscription for VMware vSphere 6 Enterprise Plus (38 units). The delivery date will be determined based on the proposal from the GSA contractor.

To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the DoD Systems for Award Management database. Contractors are also required to confirm the country of origin for the products offered and comply with provisions regarding certain telecommunications and video surveillance services or equipment. The basis for contract award will be the lowest priced GSA contractor that meets the minimum criteria outlined in the statement of requirements.

The statement of requirements specifies that the annual support/subscription is needed for VMware Horizon View, VMware vCenter, and VMware vSphere to support LeMay Center Wargaming's NIPRnet and Top Secret GameNet. The support/subscription includes technical support, emergency telephone consulting, one year of support, 24x7 availability, and a response time of 30 minutes. The period of performance for this requirement is from September 26, 2021 to September 25, 2022.
