VISN 22 Desert Pacific Healthcare Network Medical Support Assistants Staffing

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network 22 (VISN 22) Healthcare System and Outpatient Clinics has a requirement for Medical Assistants and General Administrative Assistants Staffing. Approximately 152 full-time employees (FTE) are needed to support these general administrative functions. This contract includes supervision that coordinates staffing assignments at each facility that participates in this contract. This would include Medical Support Assistants/Administrative Professionals (DOL Labor Category: 01112 General Clerk II) to perform a variety of technical support duties that facilitate the work of physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nursing assistants, and other members of the medical facility who provide direct patient care. In addition, it would include at least eight (8) Supervisory Medical Support Assistants/Administrative Professionals to coordinate leave, oversee the quality of work, and act as a liaison for the contract staff.
