VISN 21 Laboratories - Urinalysis Testing   3

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a contractor to provide Automated Urinalysis Instrumentation to support VISN 21. The contract shall be Cost per Test (CPT)/Cost per Reportable Result (CPRR), Clinical Laboratory Analyzers.

Work Details
The contract requires the provision of Automated Urinalysis Instrumentation for various locations including VA Sacramento Medical Center, Martinez CBOC, Redding CBOC, Stockton CBOC, VA Palo Alto HCS, Livermore VA CBOC, Monterey VA CBOC, San Francisco VA Medical Center, Oakland CBOC, Fresno VA Central CA Healthcare System, and others. The instrumentation shall have the capability of performing or reporting clinical parameters as defined in the Statement of Work. The contractor is required to provide a continuously stocked inventory of reagents, standards, controls, supplies, disposables, and any other materials required to properly perform tests on the equipment such that equipment operations are not interrupted.
The desired instrumentation shall have random access capability (if discrete testing is required) and be able to simultaneously perform the complete profile as described in the Statement of Work. The instrument must also be approved by The Food and Drugs Administration (FDA).

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance includes multiple Ordering Periods: Ordering Period 1: 4/1/2024 - 9/30/2024; Ordering Period 2: 10/1/2024 - 9/30/2025; Ordering Period 3: 10/1/2025 - 9/30/2026; Ordering Period 4: 10/1/2026 - 9/30/2027; Ordering Period 5: 10/1/2027 - 9/30/2028.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations for delivery include various sites within Northern California Health Care System (HCS), Palo Alto HCS, San Francisco HCS, Central CA Healthcare System, Southern Nevada HCS, Sierra Nevada Health Care System, and Pacific Islands.
