Description

On-Ramp Solicitation for Artificial Limbs and Related Services to support veterans within the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 15.

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) provides prosthetic limbs and related services to veterans who are eligible for VA health care services and have medical needs for such items and services. This acquisition will supplement VA in providing comprehensive prosthetic care and support to the veterans in need. It is VA’s intent to solicit quotes and award multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs).

Work Details
The contractor shall fabricate all prosthetic limbs in strict conformance to the prosthetic prescription provided by the VA Amputee Clinic Team. The VA will provide a list of approved L Codes for work to be provided by the Contractor for the specific prescription.

The solicitation only includes commercial items. Products that are not commercial items are considered experimental and purchase of experimental products shall not be authorized under this solicitation. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment for the fabrication of artificial limbs in strict conformance to the prosthetic prescription. There will be multiple awards for this requirement.

Period of Performance
Agreement(s) awarded under this solicitation will be in effect for 10 years from the date of award, unless terminated pursuant to the termination clauses of the agreement.

Place of Performance
Items and services are to be provided to participating VA facilities located in Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 15, including Kansas City, Leavenworth, Topeka, Columbia, Wichita, St. Louis, Marion, Poplar Bluff.
