This pre-solicitation notice serves as a synopsis and is posted in accordance with FAR subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. This is not a solicitation. Vendors shall not submit a quote until the solicitation is posted to www.SAM.gov.

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) has the following requirements:

DoDEA requires virtual simulation software and related resources and support for the following CTE pathways and courses: Management Foundations, Marketing Entrepreneurship, Business & Personal Finance, Spreadsheets/Databases, Culinary Arts I, and Culinary Arts II.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210, Software Publishers, and the applicable PSC is U009, Education/Training-General. Interested parties must be registered under the NAICS code in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting their quotes.

DoDEA intends to issue solicitation No. HE125422Q0008 in support of this requirement. This requirement will be procured using FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This requirement will be competed on a competitive basis. The anticipated award contract type is Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract(s). The period of performance will consist of a base year and four option years. The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about 17 March 2022 and an award date on or about 14 June 2022.
