Virtual Industry Day - Multi-Discipline AE IDIQ, Alaska   4

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Alaska District is hosting a virtual industry day to provide an update on the anticipated projects and to conduct a QA session for the INDEFINITE DELIVERY ARCHITECT-ENGINEER SERVICES CONTRACT(S) FOR MULTI-DISCIPLINE ARCHITECT-ENGINEER primarily in various locations in Alaska and outside Alaska on an exception basis in the U.S. Territory of Wake Island. The total shared capacity of the contract is $249,000,000.00 with a base ordering period of seven (7) years and no option periods. The solicitation, W911KB23R0020, is planned for July 2023 and will be posted on www.sam.gov.

Work Details
The scope of work includes multi-discipline AE services such as design of new structures, renovation of existing structures, master planning services, facility allowance analysis, economic and market studies, life safety analysis, code compliance, interior design, programming studies, energy analysis, landscape architecture, technical reviews, construction phase services, commissioning services, development of DB RFP, airfield pavement, communication systems (incidental to facility designs), preparation of Installation Design Guides, MILCON DD Form 1391 development, participation in programming, value engineering studies, design charrettes, project review conferences.
The facilities will generally be located in arctic, subarctic and cold region environments. The AE and their subcontractors must have experience in cold regions design as it is integral to all design disciplines.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is seven (7) years with no option periods.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will primarily be performed in various locations in Alaska and outside Alaska on an exception basis in the U.S. Territory of Wake Island.
