Description

This action was awarded non-competitively to the incumbent to avoid unacceptable delays and to avoid lapse in service/support. The authority cited for this action is FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(G). For DoD, NASA, and the Coast Guard, the order satisfies one of the exceptions permitting the use of other than full and open competition listed in FAR 6.302 as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
