Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has awarded a $216,510,000 not-to-exceed undefinitized contract to General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp., 75 Eastern Point Road, Groton, CT, 06340. This will provide for Long Lead Time Material associated with the VIRGINIA Class Submarines SSN 814 and SSN 815. This contract was not competitively procured. The statutory authority for this sole source award is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
