VIRGINIA CLASS Materials BOA Order (FY24) Modification   3

General Dynamics Electric Boat, Groton, Connecticut, was awarded a Cost-Plus Fixed-Fee (CPFF) modification to a previously awarded order under the Submarine Parts Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-22-G-4304 for the procurement of unique parts, specialized material, including spares, for VIRGINIA-Class submarines. Work will be performed in Groton, Connecticut, and is expected to be completed by September 2028.

This contract action was awarded as a CPFF contract as circumstances do not allow for the requirements to be defined sufficiently to support a fixed-price type contract.

This contract action was not awarded competitively. This contract was awarded on a sole source basis pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1 "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."
