Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Acquisition (FA) intends to award a sole source firm fixed purchase order to Motorola Solutions, Inc., 500 W. Monroe St. Chicago, Illinois 60661-3781, for services to support License Plate Recognition camera system. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.102(a)(6), the Limited Source Documentation is attached with this notice. The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

Background
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Acquisition intends to award a sole source firm fixed purchase order to Motorola Solutions, Inc. for services to support a License Plate Recognition camera system.

This acquisition is part of the DEA's mission to enhance law enforcement capabilities through advanced technology solutions.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the Vigilant Vehicle Manager (LEARN) and DEASIL Integration Service. The scope includes:
1. Maintenance and support of the License Plate Recognition camera system.
2. Compliance with the List of Products Requiring Contractor Certification as to Forced or Indentured Child Labor.
3. Representation regarding covered telecommunications equipment and services, including conducting reasonable inquiries about the use of such equipment.
4. Submission of detailed descriptions of any covered telecommunications services offered, including brand, model numbers, and explanations for their use.
5. Adherence to privacy and data protection requirements as outlined in DOJ policies, including limiting access to sensitive information and ensuring compliance with privacy assessments.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at locations specified by the DEA, which may include telecommuting arrangements subject to approval.
