VHIE Engagement Support

The Contractor shall support the clinical/administrative adoption and usage of VA HIE-related tools and services at VA Medical Centers and ancillary facilities. Support shall include community outreach, project coordination, analysis and reporting of project status, and reporting of technical and data quality concerns issues at each of the 18 Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISNs) and 160+ subordinate VAMCs and ancillary facilities nationwide. The Contractor shall provide the outreach and coordination necessary for successful deployment, serving as the main POC and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for VHIE products, interfacing with stakeholders desiring to implement electronic health record interoperability in each VHIE Community, and coordinating and implementing services in support of business and technical workflows. Support includes educating VA staff and patients about the VHIE Program and products, ensuring VA staff's ability to properly submit patient participation preference forms, promoting clinical adoption and usage of VHIE products, assisting with the identification of potential community partners, and collecting and reporting VHIE product issues and data quality concerns to VHIE Program business teams and VA support teams for remediation.
