Vessel Services

Background
The United States Marshals Service (USMS) is responsible for providing national and international relocation, storage, maintenance, appraisal, and disposal services for the Asset Forfeiture Division.

This solicitation is specifically for vessel services, which includes a full and open competition for a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The contract will cover a base period and four one-year option periods.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive vessel services including:
1. Relocation of vessels under their own power or via trailer.
2. Storage of vessels in secure facilities that meet USMS requirements.
3. Maintenance of vessels to ensure they are seaworthy and in good condition.
4. Appraisal services to assess the value of vessels.
5. Disposal of vessels through various methods including internet sales, auctions, or destruction as directed by the COR.
6. Initial intake services including inspection, cleaning, and documentation of each vessel's condition.
7. Monthly maintenance inspections and reporting to the COR with photo documentation.
8. Emergency repairs as needed and approved by the COR.
9. Compliance with all applicable laws regarding vessel storage and disposal.

Place of Performance
The performance area includes all of the United States, its territories, and international locations as necessary.
