Vessel Repair - Stennis, Mississippi   3

Background
The contract is issued by the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and specifically supports the Special Boat Team 22 (SBT-22) located at Stennis Space Center, Mississippi. The goal of this contract is to provide Non-Standard Maritime Vessel Repairs, ensuring that the vessels utilized for special operations are maintained, repaired, or overhauled as necessary. This contract aims to enhance operational readiness and support the mission of USSOCOM.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, materials, parts, equipment, machining, and facilities necessary to conduct maintenance, repair, or complete overhaul of power-driven or sailing vessels utilized for Non-Standard Maritime operations. Specific tasks include:
1. Conducting maintenance support on craft as required within the Stennis Space Center area or other negotiated locations under valid task orders.
2. Providing heavy weather/hurricane protection/storage/berthing for vessels as required.
3. Ensuring that the primary repair facility is within 50 miles of SBT-22 and has water access to the Gulf of America with sufficient depth to support up to a 50-ton yacht.
4. Utilizing a Marine Travel Lift or equivalent for lifting and storing vessels.
5. Complying with applicable regulations regarding subcontracting and maintaining relationships with any subcontracted entities used for repairs.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract line item shall be five years, established upon award.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance will be at the contractor's facility within 50 miles of Stennis Space Center, Mississippi.
