Description

The services to be furnished under this solicitation include the performance of routine, predictive, and preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs of vessels, trailers, cradles, jet docks, and related equipment in support of the Fleet operational mission of the Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic (SWFLANT) Transit Protection Program (TPP) program and Nuclear Weapons Security (NWS) program.

Background
The services to be furnished under this solicitation include the performance of routine, predictive, and preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs on vessels, trailers, cradles, jet docks, and related equipment in support of the Fleet operational mission of the Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic (SWFLANT) Transit Protection Program (TPP) program and Nuclear Weapons Security (NWS) program. The mission of the Transit Protection Program (TPP) is to provide blocking, reaction, and screening vessel support to the nation’s TRIDENT Submarine Fleet at Kings Bay, Georgia. The mission of the Nuclear Weapons Security (NWS) program as it pertains to this contract is to provide harbor security inside the confines of the Waterfront Restricted Area (WRA). Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic (SWFLANT) requires maintenance and repair support for six (6) sixty-four foot vessels, six (6) thirty-three foot vessels, six (6) thirty-six foot vessels, six (6) thirty-three foot trailers, six (6) thirty-six foot trailers, four (4) floating jet docks and associated equipment.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, consumable supplies, etc., to meet the requirements set forth herein. The effort includes a base period with a total of five line item numbers and four optional contract periods. The services include maintenance and repair support for various vessels and equipment including engine/generator replacements on all platforms, topside non-skid application, bottom paint application, boat alterations.
The Contractor shall also provide a Staffing Plan detailing the approach for recruiting required personnel with requisite experience and qualifications to perform the contract immediately at the start of the period of performance.

Period of Performance
Period of performance to commence on or about 01 May 2024 located at Naval Submarine Base in Kings Bay, Georgia. Delivery and acceptance is FOB point Kings Bay, Georgia. The potential contract will have a 12-month Base Period plus four 12-month Option Periods.

Place of performance is Naval Submarine Base in Kings Bay, Georgia and other local areas within a 100-mile radius.
