Vertical Launching System (VLS) Launch Sequencer (LSEQ) MK 5 Mod 2   4

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) intends to issue a solicitation for the manufacture, assembly, test and delivery of Vertical Launching System (VLS) Launch Sequencer (LSEQ), Maintenance Assistance Module (MAM) kit, Onboard Repair Part (OBRP) kit, Installation and Checkout (INCO) spares kit, Depot spares kit, and Lowest Replaceable Unit (LRU) kit. Please refer to the attached Statement of Work for a detailed description of this effort Sources Sought Notice No. N6339420R0020 posted to beta.sam.gov on 1 April 2020 provides additional information regarding this requirement.

Based on market research results, the Government has determined that this requirement will be solicited under the provisions of FAR Subpart 6.1 Full and Open Competition under NAICS 334519, pursuant to the policies and procedures of FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that the agency shall consider.

Question: Section 16.1 of the draft SOW refers to "UCEU and associated cables". Please define UCEU.

Answer: This was erroneously included in the draft SOW, "UCEU and associated cables" should be replaced with "LSEQ and associated kits".
