Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested.

(ii) This is a request for Quotation (RFQ), which is being issued via solicitation number 75H70419Q00041.

(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95.

(iv) This requirement is an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) or Indian Small Business Firm set-aside and the associated NAICS is 511210, Software Publishers, with size standard of $38.5 million. Non-ISBEE or Indian Small Business Firm offerors will not be considered for the award. Offeror is required to submit a completed Indian Firm Representation Form, which is included in this solicitation.

(v) The Contract Line Items (CLINs), pricing structure, and documentation requirements can be found in the Statement of Work (SOW) attachment.

(vi) The Indian Health Service (IHS) plans to purchase Veritas Enterprise Net Backup Software licenses, which is a software license that allows the Indian Health Service (IHS) Headquarters Data Centers to support multiple operating systems as well as providing for the agents required for support both physical and virtual servers.
