Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail)
This opportunity appears to have a closely related prior contract for the same event, “VENUE FOR FREEDOM 250 RECEPTION,” under contract 19MY3026P0328 awarded to Asas Klasik Sdn Bhd for $62,355 (04/29/26–07/30/26). The scope described for the current requirement—securing an appropriate venue in Kota Kinabalu/Sabah with capacity for guests, VIP and performer spaces, catering/bar service, and event design/decorations—matches the type of venue support typically required for Freedom 250 reception activities, suggesting continuity from the earlier Freedom 250 reception procurement.
