****Amendment 0002 to Soliciation W56HZV-22-R-0016 has been posted to SAM 27 March 2023 to make the following changes:

1. Solicitation closing date is extended from 28 March 2023 at 5:00 PM local Warren time to 28 April 2023 at 5:00 PM local Warren time.

2. Please refer to the contents of Amendment 0002 to Soliciation W56HZV-22-R-0016 for a full list of the administrative updates and corrections.

3. Except as provided herein all other terms and conditions remain unchanged and in full force and effect.

Under the authority of 10 U.S. Code 4022, Authority of the Department of Defense to carry out certain prototype projects, the United States Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to award a Sole Source hybrid Firm-Fixed Price (FFP)/Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract to Lockheed Martin Corporation, CAGE Code: 04939, for Vehicle Protection System (VPS) Base Kits (VBK), and support services on an other than full and open competition basis. This solicitation is intended to result in a single five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract.

The proposed contract is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source, Lockheed Martin Corporation.
