Background
The Vehicle Barriers Maintenance and Repair (M&R) Services Contract is issued by the Air Force to provide preventive maintenance, inspection, and minor repair for operational vehicle barriers at Air Force, Air Force Reserve, and Air Force National Guard Installations.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the functionality and safety of vehicle barrier systems, which are critical for security operations at military installations.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, labor, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, travel, periodic inspection, minor repair, and other items necessary to provide Preventive Maintenance (PM) on Vehicle Barriers. Specific tasks include:

- Conducting initial PM service within 30 days of contract award;
- Providing four PM services annually (one in October and three quarterly);
- Ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications;
- Maintaining cleanliness of barrier pits;
- Providing a 24/7 customer service hotline;
- Conducting annual training sessions for barrier system operation;
- Repainting barrier structures during summer PM sessions;
- Performing minor repairs during PM visits;
- Maintaining a Maintenance and Repair Log; and
- Documenting any additional in-scope work identified during PM or service calls.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance is Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.
