Vector Week 2024

Background
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases (NCEZID) aims to prevent disease, disability, and death caused by a wide range of infectious diseases. NCEZID focuses on diseases that have been around for many years, emerging diseases (those that are new or just recently identified), and zoonotic diseases (those spread from animals to people). NCEZID’s work is guided in part by a holistic 'One Health' strategy, which recognizes the vital interconnectedness of microbes and the environment. Through a comprehensive approach involving many scientific disciplines, we can attain better health for humans and animals and improve our environment.

Work Details
The purpose of this contract is to provide conference/meeting space, planning, management, logistics, publicity, and other services to support a grantee meeting in Fort Collins, Colorado, tentatively named 'Vector Week 2024.' The contractor will also provide post-meeting support to DVBD. The services include providing meeting space for up to 400 conference attendees, registration management services, meeting logistics and implementation support, and post-meeting activities such as providing all information collected via Excel reports.

Period of Performance
The period of performance of this contract is from September 30, 2023 to March 1, 2024.

Place of Performance
Vector Week 2024 is a grantee meeting to be held in Fort Collins, Colorado. Services will be performed at the Contractor’s location in Fort Collins, Colorado. DVBD is located at 3156 Rampart Road, Fort Collins, Colorado. Vector Week will occur at a venue in or near (within 20 miles) Fort Collins.
