Vault/Septic Toilet Pumping Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest

Background
The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest has a requirement for vault toilet/septic pumping services for several of their campground facilities on an as needed basis. The vendor must respond to requests for pumping services within 5 business days and ensure that pumping and disposal follow all Wisconsin DNR regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the cleanout of all septic tanks on the Lakewood-Laona Ranger District and the Eagle River-Florence Ranger District on an as needed basis. This includes providing a technician to lead the vendor from the office location to recreation sites if needed, supplying a truck to empty septic tanks, and ensuring proper disposal following all Wisconsin DNR regulations.
The contractor is also responsible for protecting the public and Forest Service personnel, facilities, and resources during the work, cleaning up spills immediately, and properly disposing of all trash pulled from the tank off Forest Service land.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from June 1, 2022, to October 31, 2023.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Chequamegon National Forest in northern Wisconsin, specifically at the Lakewood-Laona Ranger Districts and Eagle River-Florence Ranger Districts.
