Vault Door

Background
The 621st Contingency Response Support Squadron mission is to provide global, rapid deployment for Contingency Response Wing personnel. This requirement addresses the need to procure a new Vault door to replace the existing door that no longer has a company to replace the handle that is defective. The resultant contract will provide equipment purchase and installation of the new vault door as well as the removal of the current vault door continuing the protection IAW AFI 31-101 for $1.2M of equipment and assets.

Work Details
Scope of Work: Advantor systems will come and remove currently installed alarm trigger system. The vendor will then take the old armory door down. After the vender takes the old armory door down they will install the new GSA GSA Class 5-A | AA-D-600D door.
After the new door is installed Advantor systems will re-install the alarm trigger system on the new door. The vendor will provide detailed explanation on how to operate and utilize the doors combination lock and other functions. All of this needs to take place the same day to meet security requirements of assets stored in the Weapons Vault.
Equipment Requirements: GSA Class 5-A | AA-D-600D. This rating provides 30 man-minutes of protection against covert entry and 10 man-minutes against forced entry. A Class 5-A vault door is rated for use as an armory door and the storing of weapons, narcotics, evidence, precious objects, and money. All items to include tools needed to remove the old door, install the new door, and the new door itself will be provided by the vendor.
