Vapor Degreaser Cleaning

Background
The contract is issued by the 402d Commodities Maintenance Group (CMXG) at Robins Air Force Base, GA. The goal of the contract is to ensure the proper maintenance and cleaning of a specific industrial vapor degreaser system to support operational readiness and safety standards.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all materials, parts, travel, tools, and labor necessary to perform two (2) annual cleanings of the Vapor Degreaser (Model# ZV-10.35-EW-SPL, S/N 100094). The cleaning services include:

1. Complete cleaning of all vapor degreaser surfaces, connected still, and associated equipment to remove rust, oxidation, acid deposits, and accumulated chemical and sludge deposits. Areas covered include condensation trough, solvent/air interface, water separator, one fixture basket, and heaters/cal-rods.

2. Application of a solution to neutralize chemicals and remove all acid residue from pipes and fittings that have been in contact with chemicals.

3. Thorough rinsing of the system with a 1,600 PSI pressure washer followed by drying the entire system after cleaning.

4. Checking safety thermostats for proper set points and ensuring they are operating correctly.

5. Ensuring the system has required labeling including danger labels, caution labels, and operating instructions.

6. Safe disposal of all chemicals and hazardous substances in appropriately marked containers provided by Robins Air Force Base; disposal responsibility lies with the Government.

Period of Performance
The basic period of performance is from June 18, 2025 to June 17, 2026, with four option years extending through June 17, 2030.
