VAMC El Paso Electrical Equipment Service Amendment 0001

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for the El Paso Veterans Healthcare System (EPVAHCS) to procure electrical equipment service and maintenance.
The goal of the contract is to ensure the reliability and safety of critical electrical systems, including power distribution and emergency standby power generation, through comprehensive maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair services.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide comprehensive maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair services for critical electrical distribution systems, photovoltaic solar systems, and emergency restoration services.
Specific tasks include:
1. Scheduled maintenance and inspection of the Electrical Power Distribution System.
2. Emergency Standby Power Generation and Distribution system maintenance.
3. Maintenance of Mission Critical Electrical Systems components.
4. Photovoltaic Solar System maintenance.
5. Energy Management services including Emergency Restoration Service.
6. All labor, materials, tools, equipment, applicable state licenses and permits are to be provided by the contractor.
7. The contractor must ensure that all work is performed by certified personnel with relevant experience in healthcare environments.
8. Maintenance activities must be coordinated with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to minimize system downtime.

Period of Performance
Base Year: February 2, 2026 – February 1, 2027; Option Year 1: February 2, 2027 – February 1, 2028; Option Year 2: February 2, 2028 – February 1, 2029; Option Year 3: February 2, 2029 – February 1, 2030; Option Year 4: February 2, 2030 – February 1, 2031.
