Background
The contract is issued by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), specifically through the NASA Shared Services Center. The mission of NASA includes conducting research and development in aeronautics and space exploration.

The goal of this contract is to procure an Intensified Charge Coupled Device (ICCD) camera system that will replace an outdated model, which is no longer serviceable. This system will support critical measurements for characterizing shock wave properties in high-speed planetary entry scenarios for destinations such as Mars and Earth.

Work Details
The vendor shall provide an Intensified Charge Coupled Device System with the following specifications:
- Quantity: 1
- Part Number: PM4-1024I-UV
- Description: Teledyne PI-MAX 4 1024i ICCD Intensified Camera System
- Minimum 1024 x 1024 pixel array
- Image area of 13.1 x 13.1 mm
- Intensified diameter at least 18mm
- Sensitivity range: minimum 120-300 nm
- Peak Quantum Efficiency >18%
- Programmable integration time with minimum gate time of 0.1 µs or less
- Rise time less than 0.1 µs
- Single shot externally triggered acquisition
- Thermoelectric cooling programmable to -20 C
- Capable of collecting two or more frames at intervals of two microseconds or less
- Phosphor decay to <1% in two microseconds
- Working distance from detector to front face of detector <1.0 inch
- 16-bit A/D conversion
- Operation Software included
- Vacuum Spectroscopy Mount included
- Fill factor: 100%
