Vac-Con Truck Rental JBMDL

Background
The solicitation is for a six-month rental of a Vac-Con Combination Catch Basin-Sewer Cleaner Truck. The contractor is required to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other necessary items. The project is located at Joint Base MDL in New Jersey.

Work Details
The contractor is expected to provide a Vac-Con truck model # VXPD 4212 Sewer Cleaner mounted on a 66,000 lb. GVWR Freightliner Chassis or equivalent. The unit should be equipped with a 12 cubic yard debris hopper, 1300-gallon water tank, 80 GPM @ 2000 PSI water jetting pump, articulating hose reel, 600 feet of jetting hose, 2 cleaning nozzles, hydro excavation system, and a 10-foot telescoping boom.

The tasks include:
- Truck delivery
- Providing setup instructions
- Training on how to identify and operate controls
- Monthly invoicing (not to exceed 6 months)
- Performing all maintenance on the vehicle
- Disposing of hazardous waste properly through the base water waste plant and following state and local laws pertaining to waste disposal
- Performing emergency repairs and services
- Picking up the truck after the period of performance.
The contractor is also required to ensure that the truck is full of fuel upon arrival and maintained to the same standard upon pick up at the end of the rental agreement.

Period of Performance
The contract is for a six-month period.

Place of Performance
The project will be performed at Building 3104, Joint Base MDL in Fort Dix, New Jersey.
