The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a vendor to provide data analytics support services for the Integrated Informatics and Analytics (II&A) Program. The II&A Program aims to improve access to care, outcomes, and decision-making within the VA healthcare system. The vendor will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data, resolving data quality issues, and promoting the use of data and information technology. They will also develop analytics and dashboards to monitor utilization and cost drivers, support care coordination efforts, detect patterns of care, and identify cost-saving opportunities. The vendor will need to provide a fully qualified data science team consisting of senior data engineers, senior data scientists, and program analysts.

The performance work statement outlines the specific tasks that the vendor will be responsible for. This includes developing data pipelines and architectures, cleaning and analyzing data, developing tools for data analysis and reporting, conducting studies and evaluations, and providing program management support. The vendor will also be required to participate in contract administration and reporting requirements, including a kickoff meeting, monthly status reports, and staffing plans. The delivery schedule specifies the quantity and due dates for each task deliverable.

The place of performance for this contract is at the contractor's facilities. However, there may be minimal travel required for program-level meetings or conferences. The government may also require face-to-face meetings with all contractor staff at the VA Integrated Veteran Care Office in Denver, CO up to twice per year. The contract is expected to have a one-year base period with one additional one-year option period.

Security requirements are outlined in the contract, including background investigation requirements for contractor personnel accessing VA information systems. Contractors must comply with VA information security policies and procedures and protect sensitive information through encryption and other security measures. Contractors must also report any security incidents or unauthorized disclosures of sensitive information.

Overall, this opportunity presents a significant opportunity for a vendor with expertise in healthcare data analytics to support the VA's efforts to improve access to care and decision-making within the VHA system.
