Description

This RFQ is for the maintenance and servicing of VA CMOP facility security survelance systems program. This includes lifecycle replacement identificaiton and resolution.

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure Maintenance and Life Cycle Management services for the Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) Enterprise-wide Physical Security System. This system includes an integrated Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Physical Access Control System (PACS), and Video Surveillance System (VSS).

The goal is to ensure that all CMOP facilities maintain a high level of security as they process over 120 million prescriptions annually, handling a significant volume of controlled and uncontrolled pharmaceutical drugs. The CMOP currently operates eight production facilities across the United States, with a focus on maintaining compliance with VA/VHA guidelines and policies.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Life Cycle Management services for the CMOP Security System at eight designated CMOP facilities. This includes:
1. Emergency response support.
2. Preventative maintenance services.
3. Unscheduled repair response.
4. Comprehensive system documentation management.
5. Management of necessary system updates or configuration changes for both hardware and software components.
6. Services will be overseen by a Service Program Manager and implemented by local, factory-trained, and certified staff at each location.
7. The systems involved include Bosch IDS, Johnson Controls P2000 PACS, and Genetec Security Center VSS, ensuring operational functionality and reliability across all sites.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at eight CMOP locations across the United States including Leavenworth, KS; Shawnee, KS; Chelmsford, MA; Tucson, AZ; Lancaster, TX; Murfreesboro, TN; Hines, IL; and Ladson, SC.
