Va-Chincoteague NWR-Aggregate Materials

Background
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of aggregate materials to support the operations at the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge (NWR).

The goal of this contract is to ensure the delivery of high-quality, sustainable aggregate materials that meet specific environmental standards and contribute to the agency's mission of conserving fish, wildlife, and their habitats.

Work Details
The contractor will supply the following aggregate materials:
1. 1.5" minus road base gravel with fines
2. 3/8" minus trail gravel with fines

Materials must consist of virgin quarried aggregate sourced from local geological deposits within approximately 100 miles of the site. Recycled and/or washed river rock will not be accepted. Additionally, a copy of the latest gradation analysis and test data for the materials must be submitted to demonstrate compliance with the standards set in the Statement of Work (SOW).

Bidder Requirements
This solicitation is set aside for Small Business participation. Bidders must comply with all requirements outlined in the SOW, including providing sustainable products as defined by federal guidelines. Bidders are also required to submit documentation proving their ability to deliver compliant materials.
