Amendment 0001 Questions and Answers SOW, Specific Tasks, Section 5.4 states: The contractor shall move and deliver items to the end users including furniture for the many major moves and projects for the Interior Designers, medical supplies, equipment, computers, printers, beds, stages, and whatever is needed and requested. We request that the whatever is needed and requested be defined as to what is included or the wording whatever is needed and requested be removed as this can mean the laborers will simply do anything and everything that is asked of them. Answer: 1. Revised scope language: The contractor shall move and deliver items to the end users including but not limited to furniture for the many major moves and projects for the Interior Designers, medical supplies, equipment, computers, printers, beds, stages. Does the Palo Alto VA have a forklift course that laborers can take onsite? Answer: 2. No, vendor would be responsible for training / certifying its own staff. Will the laborers perform any transport, or will they only be loading and offloading the product? Answer: 3. See section 8 Will the laborers be required to work at the different locations listed on the SOW or report to 1 location daily? If required to work at the different locations, can a 48-hour notice be provided? Answer: 4. See section 9 Is this a new requirement or does the VA have a current incumbent? If there is a current incumbent, please provide the current contract number or incumbent name. Answer:5 I can only answer questions about the solicitation, not the current contract.
