Furniture Relocation and Installation Services

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this solicitation for Furniture Relocation and Installation Services for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive relocation and installation services to support the operations of the healthcare system, ensuring efficient management of furniture and equipment.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, transportation, tools, and equipment necessary for furniture and equipment relocation and installation services. Specific tasks include:

1. Providing a minimum of four personnel daily for pick-ups, assembly/disassembly, deliveries, installations, warehousing, and moving of furniture.

2. Maintaining an inventory of items/products entering and exiting the EMS warehouse.

3. Supplying services for designing and installing systems to manage office furniture inventories.

4. Offering reconfiguration/relocation management services for reorganizing or consolidating facilities.

5. Providing maintenance services for restoring, repairing, renovating, re-upholstering, and cleaning office furnishings.

Period of Performance
The contract period begins on February 1, 2025, and ends on January 31, 2026. There are options to extend the contract for additional periods.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations associated with the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System including but not limited to: 11301 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90073; VA Downtown LA Ambulatory Care Center; VA Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center; and several Community Based Outpatient Clinics in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria, East Los Angeles, Lancaster, Ventura, and Bakersfield.
