Background
The VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System (VASNHCS) requires recurring commercial furniture management, installation, relocation, delivery, and storage services throughout the health care system. This requirement supports routine weekly moves, service relocations and consolidations, furniture reconfiguration, activation of new and renovated spaces, delivery and installation of new furniture, and secure off-site storage of Government-owned furniture and related items.

The contract aims to ensure timely, safe, and professional services that minimize disruption to patient care and Government operations.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all supervision, project coordination, qualified personnel, vehicles, transportation, secure warehouse storage, packing supplies, tools, equipment, and incidental materials necessary to perform the services described in this PWS. Services include:

- Planning and coordination of furniture moves;
- Disassembly, packing, protection;
- Loading and unloading;
- Placement and reassembly of commercial furniture;
- Removal and reinstallation of wall-mounted items;
- Receipt and inventory control of Government-owned furniture;
- Routine urgent after-hours services;
- Removal of damaged or excess furniture as directed.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a base period from November 1, 2026 to October 31, 2027 with options for additional periods up to four years.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations including the Ioannis A. Lougaris VA Medical Center in Reno, NV and other VASNHCS facilities within ten road miles.

Bidder Requirements
This solicitation is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). Offerors must be verified at the time of quote submission and maintain registration until award completion. Bidders must provide evidence of general liability insurance without exclusionary clauses for asbestos. They must also demonstrate capability through personnel qualifications including certifications and experience relevant to the tasks outlined.
