SLC Off-Site Veteran Lodging
Background
The Salt Lake City Veterans Administration Healthcare System (SLCVAHCS) is seeking Off-Site Veteran Lodging Services to accommodate Veterans who have traveled long distances for healthcare needs. The goal of this contract is to provide room accommodations for approved and authorized Veteran beneficiaries attending appointments at the VA Salt Lake City Health Care located at 500 Foothill Boulevard, Salt Lake City, UT 84148.

This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a 5-Year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract, specifically set aside for service-disabled veteran owned small businesses (SDVOSB).

Work Details
The contractor will act as a broker to locate hotel/lodging facilities that meet or exceed specified requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Finding alternative lodging if the original facility is unavailable.
- Providing monthly invoices; advanced payments are not allowed.
- Serving as the single point of contact for issues/complaints between the hotel and the Medical Center.
- Monitoring hotels for compliance with safety and health regulations.
