OKC Trainee Housing

Background
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Oklahoma City VA Medical Center (OKC VAMC) is seeking a contractor to provide temporary housing and associated support services for Academic Affiliate Health Professions Trainees (HPTs) during their rotation at the OKC VAMC.

The goal of this contract is to assist HPTs who are adversely affected by commuting distances, ensuring they have access to local housing and necessary amenities during their clinical rotations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide temporary housing for HPTs identified by the OKC VAMC Education Department, including:
- Residential housing services within a three-mile radius of the OKC VAMC campus.
- Maintenance of five one-bedroom/one-bathroom hotel rooms/suites, with potential for additional rooms as needed.
- 24/7 accessibility to facilities and accommodations related to the housing unit.
- Safe accommodations with free internet access, reasonable access to food, and other daily living requirements.
- Compliance with VHA Directive 1400.09(1) regarding housing standards.
- General housekeeping services including sanitation and pest control.
- Flexible check-in/check-out procedures and verification of guest identity upon check-in.
- Documentation and reporting of any issues related to HPTs within 48 hours.
- Maintenance of records related to incidents and room occupancy, with monthly reports provided to the COR.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) is five years, with orders placed as needed throughout this timeframe.

Place of Performance
The contractor's facility must be located within a three-mile radius of the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center at 921 NE 13th St., Oklahoma City, OK 73104.
