Wheelchair Transportation Service Urgent | Bridge | Start: 7/1/25 | Cincinnati VAMC

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this contract for urgent ambulance services to support the medical needs of veterans.
The goal of this contract is to ensure timely and efficient transportation for patients requiring immediate medical attention, thereby enhancing the overall healthcare delivery system within the VA.

Work Details
The contractor will provide urgent ambulance services, which include but are not limited to:
1) Responding to emergency calls for patient transport;
2) Ensuring that all ambulances are equipped with necessary medical supplies and equipment;
3) Employing qualified personnel trained in emergency medical services;
4) Maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and standards for emergency medical transportation;
5) Coordinating with VA medical facilities to facilitate seamless patient transfers.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025, and will continue for a specified duration as outlined in the contract terms.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in the geographic area surrounding the Dayton VA Medical Center located at 3140 Governor’s Place Blvd. Suite 210, Kettering, OH.
