FY27 ALS and BLS Ambulance Transports (BASE+4) HVHCS

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure ambulance transport services for Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Hudson Valley Healthcare System (HVHCS). The goal of this contract is to ensure timely and efficient patient transport services to support the healthcare needs of veterans in the region.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing ALS and BLS ambulance transport services. This includes but is not limited to: responding to emergency calls, transporting patients to and from medical facilities, ensuring that all necessary medical equipment is available and functioning during transport, and maintaining compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.

The contractor must also provide trained personnel capable of delivering appropriate medical care during transport.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a base year with four additional option years, starting from the date of award.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have appropriate licenses for ambulance operation and must employ personnel with valid certifications in ALS and BLS. Additionally, bidders should demonstrate experience in providing similar services to healthcare facilities.
