Description

Contractor shall provide Urgent, non-emergent Stretcher Transports, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Critical Care Transport (CCT) Tier 1, 2, and 3 ambulance services on an as-needed basis in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations to the Emergancy Department at the Fayetteville NC VAMC.

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a contractor to provide urgent and non-emergent ambulance services, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Critical Care Transport (CCT) for the Fayetteville NC Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC).
The goal of this contract is to ensure timely and compliant transportation services for veterans in need of medical care, adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide the following services:
1. Emergent and non-emergent stretcher transports, BLS, ALS, and CCT Tier 1, 2, and 3 ambulance services on an as-needed basis.
2. Transport of miscellaneous items such as patient luggage, medical records, medications, and comfort items without additional cost.
3. Ensure that all personnel providing these services are courteous and professional at all times.
4. Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and Critical Care Transport Paramedics (CCTPs) must meet all qualifications specified in the contract and be certified by relevant authorities.
5. The contractor must maintain compliance with vehicle regulations and ensure that ambulances are clean and properly maintained.
6. The contractor shall provide sufficient personnel to handle up to four simultaneous transportation requests, which may include a mix of stretcher transports, BLS, ALS, or CCT services.
7. Response times for scheduled orders must be adhered to; emergent transport requests must be fulfilled within 30 minutes of order placement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily at the Fayetteville NC VAMC and potentially other locations as required by the VA.
