Kettles VA Medical Center located at 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI. This facility serves over 96,641 veterans in southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio, providing critical healthcare services including inpatient and outpatient care.

The goal of this contract is to ensure reliable and efficient ambulance transportation services for veterans, including both emergency and non-emergency situations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide emergent and non-emergent ambulance transportation services including stretcher transports, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Critical Care Transport (CCT) services on an as-needed basis. Services must be available 24/7, including weekends and holidays.

Key requirements include:
- Providing all necessary vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, equipment, and reporting.
- Transporting patients along with their luggage, medical records, medications, and comfort items at no additional cost.
- Ensuring all personnel meet qualifications specified in the contract and applicable laws.
- Conducting background checks on personnel to ensure safety and compliance with VA standards.
- Utilizing the VetRide Vendor Portal or VA-approved software for managing transport requests and invoicing.
- Adhering to strict response times for scheduled and emergency transports.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety for all vehicles used in patient transport.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a five-year period as an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.
