Wheelchair Transportation
Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, is seeking a contractor to provide wheelchair transportation services for eligible veterans. The goal of this contract is to ensure that veterans have access to necessary medical facilities and services through reliable non-emergency ground transportation.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all ground transportation services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This includes:
- Providing all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, transportation, equipment, and reports necessary for ground transportation services for VA beneficiaries.
- Services will be provided for the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care Systems and associated Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) located in various areas including Biloxi, MS; Mobile, AL; Pensacola, FL; Eglin, FL; and Panama City, FL.
- Transportation must be available 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
- The contractor must maintain communication with the VA for trip scheduling and provide a toll-free number for service requests.
- The contractor is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards and providing timely invoicing.

Period of Performance
The expected period of performance is one base year with three option years, each lasting twelve months.

Services will be performed at various locations including Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System in Biloxi, MS and associated CBOCs in Mobile, AL; Pensacola, FL; Eglin, FL; and Panama City, FL.
