Purpose and Objectives The Saginaw VA Medical Center located at 1500 Weiss Street, Saginaw, MI 48602; requires a contractor to provide Non-Emergent Medical Transportation (NEMT) services in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Government intends to award a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This Sources Sought Notice is being issued by the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 located in Kettering, OH as part of market research for planning purposes. A draft a copy of the PWS is attached and is the only information available at this time. Background
The Saginaw VA Medical Center, located at 1500 Weiss Street, Saginaw, MI 48602, serves over 40,000 veterans and is seeking a contractor to provide Non-Emergent Medical Transportation (NEMT) services. This initiative is part of the Veterans Health Administration's mission to ensure veterans receive necessary medical transportation. Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing non-emergent wheelchair and ambulatory transportation services, ensuring availability 24/7. Key tasks include:
1. Providing all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, and equipment necessary for transport services.
