Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, is seeking contracted non-emergency ambulance transportation services to support its healthcare operations. The goal of this contract is to provide reliable and efficient ambulance services for veterans, ensuring their safe transport to and from medical facilities. This service is crucial for maintaining the health and well-being of veterans who require medical attention.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, equipment, and necessary reporting for the provision of Stretcher Transports, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Critical Care Transport (CCT) services. Services include:

1. Emergent and non-emergent stretcher transports.
2. Basic Life Support (BLS) for non-emergency transport.
3. Advanced Life Support (ALS) for emergency transport.
4. Critical Care Transport (CCT) for patients requiring specialized care during transport.
5. Transport of patient luggage, medical records, medication, and comfort items at no additional cost.
6. Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding ambulance services.
7. Utilization of VetRide or VA-approved transportation software for managing transportation requests and invoicing.
8. Provision of qualified personnel including Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and Critical Care Transport Paramedics (CCTPs).
9. Maintenance of vehicles in compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2030, with five one-year ordering periods available.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center located in Indianapolis, IN, as well as its associated Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) and affiliated healthcare clinics.
