Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking assisted transportation services for beneficiaries of the Kansas City VAMC. The contract is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) five-year contract, with individual bulk funded task orders to be issued not to exceed twelve-month periods.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide assisted transportation (Wheelchair/Cot) service for the beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 4801 Linwood Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64128. The services are required seven days per week, twenty-four hours per day, three hundred sixty-five days per year. The majority of requests for service will be between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The contractor shall provide 'through the door' assisted service for all patients to and from their designated appointments.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from TBD Award Date through TBD Contract End Date.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, 4801 East Linwood Boulevard, Kansas City MO 64128-2226.
