SB - Armored Car Service IDIQ 60month POP 9/1/2025-8/30/2026

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 19, is issuing this solicitation for Armored Car Services to support the Sheridan VA Medical Center. The goal of this contract is to ensure secure transportation of funds and other sensitive materials for the VAMC's Canteen Service and Agent Cashier Office. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside, with a focus on providing reliable and secure armored car services.

Work Details
The contractor will provide armored car services twice weekly, specifically on Wednesdays and Fridays, between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. The services include:
- Collecting shipments (cash or checks, securities, instruments) from the Canteen Office and Agent Cashier's Office at the Sheridan VA Medical Center.
- Transporting these shipments securely to designated consignees as instructed by the VAMC.
- Returning receipts, cash, securities, and instruments securely sealed back to the VAMC.
- Providing deposit receipts on the next pickup day.
- Handling additional non-routine shipments (up to two per month).
- Maintaining an accountable register for all shipments (deliveries and pickups).
- Ensuring that all shipments are transported in locked bags and that all protocols for facility access are followed.
- Notifying the Cashier of any delays prior to departing from the bank.
- Liability insurance coverage of up to $500,000 per trip is required.
