Description

On Call Type III Helicopter flight services for Aerial Capture, Eradication, and Trapping of Animals/Wild Horse and Burro (ACETA/WH&B)
Background
The Department of the Interior (DOI) is seeking to award multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) for On Call Type III Helicopter flight services. These services are intended for Aerial Capture, Eradication, and Trapping of Animals (ACETA) and Wild Horse and Burro (WH&B) missions. The goal of this contract is to support various DOI bureaus and offices tasked with wildlife management, including the U.S. Forest Service and other government agencies that have agreements with the Interior Business Center (IBC).

Work Details
The contractor will provide on-call helicopter flight services for various missions including:

1. Herding, Eradication, Darting/Marking, Trapping, and Net gunning under ACETA operations.
2. Herding and Trapping under WH&B Programs.
3. Specific flights may include low-level reconnaissance.
4. The contractor must ensure helicopters meet minimum requirements including being light helicopters with at least three seats and 180 horsepower output minimum.
5. Helicopters must be capable of performing at various density altitudes with specified performance metrics.
6. Additional personnel may be required for certain operations including aerial gunners, animal handlers, and veterinary support.
7. The contractor must maintain compliance with FAA regulations and ensure all aircraft are airworthy and equipped as specified in the solicitation.
