EXCLUSIVE USE TYPE 1 HELICOPTER FLIGHT SERVICES IN   3

Background
The solicitation is for exclusive use Type 1 helicopter flight services to support the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Boise, Idaho. The helicopter will be used for resource program requirements and to support wild land fire emergencies nationally.

Work Details
The Contractor is required to provide fully contractor operated and maintained exclusive use helicopter flight services for 120 days, with the possibility of extension. The designated base of operations for the aircraft is Boise, Idaho, but it may be dispatched anywhere in the Lower 48 United States and Alaska. The contract includes provision of a helicopter, personnel, fuel servicing vehicle, fuel, and all other associated equipment as prescribed in the solicitation.

The minimum aircraft requirements include seating for 12 insured personnel, non-jettisonable payload of 3,500 pounds at 25 degrees C at 7,000 feet pressure altitude, two turbine engines, airspeed of 140 knot indicated airspeed at 7,000 feet and 25 degrees C, wheeled landing gear with shock absorbing struts, dual aft sliding doors, standard or restricted category airworthiness certificate.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is from May 1, 2022 to April 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
The designated base of operations for the aircraft is Boise, Idaho; however, the aircraft will be subject to dispatch anywhere in the Lower 48 United States and Alaska.
