BLM EU HELO Fire - Type 3 Upper Yukon and Galena   4

Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking flight services for Type 3 Upper Yukon and Galena Fire Zones. The designated base of operation is Fort Wainwright, AK for Upper Yukon and Galena AK. The contract has a base 5-year ordering period with a six-month extension of services option.

Work Details
The intent of this requirement is to acquire two fully operated and maintained exclusive use helicopters to support Government natural resource missions on separate IDIQ contracts; one per Item. The Type 3 exclusive use (EU) helicopter Flight services are for use by the Bureau of Land Management, Alaska Fire Service in support of fire and resource management activities and other interagency government work; Flight services directly support the Upper Yukon Fire Zone located at Fort Wainwright (Fairbanks), Alaska and for the Galena Fire Zone located at Galena, Alaska. Services will consist of retrieval of smokejumpers, transport of passengers and cargo, initial attack, and suppression of wildland fires.

Period of Performance
Period of Performance: 04/01/2024 to 03/31/2029.
Upper Yukon Fire Zone EU period is April 25 through July 23 each year.
Galena Fire Zone EU period is May 11 through August 8 each year.
