Description

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The Commander, Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) Procurement Group (PG), in support of the Fleet Readiness Center East (FRC East or FRCE) ? Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, North Carolina, intends to procure one (1) test stand capable of testing both left-hand and right-hand V-22 PropRotor Gearbox (PRGB) Input Quill Assemblies (IQA) for the V-22 aircraft. This includes all mechanical, electrical, software, and control systems as well as ancillary subsystems required to test either PropRotor Gearbox Input Quills. This will be a turnkey delivery including all parts and labor required for machine functionality including installation, commissioning, performance testing, and calibration to enable the government to produce aircraft components upon Government acceptance. This test stand will be located in Building 4497, FRCE, MCAS Cherry Point, NC. Please see N6852024R0041 Solicitation attached to this notice for the full requirement description. Background
The Commander, Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) Procurement Group intends to procure a test stand for the V-22 aircraft at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, North Carolina. This procurement supports the Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) mission to enhance aircraft component production capabilities. The goal is to acquire a turnkey solution that includes all necessary systems and support for testing V-22 PropRotor Gearbox Input Quill Assemblies (IQA).

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement of one (1) V-22 PropRotor Gearbox Input Quill Assembly (IQA) Test Stand, which must include:
