UXO Clearance Services - Fort McCoy   2

Background
This contract is issued by Fort McCoy, which serves as a training site for military personnel. The mission of the installation is to provide a safe and effective environment for military training. The goal of this contract is to ensure the clearance of unexploded ordnance (UXO) to expand the availability of safe training areas for military operations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, supervision, and other necessary services to perform UXO clearance services at Fort McCoy, WI. This includes:

1. Surface Clearance: Conducting surface clearance over 275 acres;
2. Sub-Surface Clearance: Performing sub-surface clearance over 190 acres;
3. Pre-Collected Range Residue Certification and Disposal: Handling 15,000 pounds of government pre-collected range residue;
4. Mobilization Services: Providing mobilization services as required.

All tasks must comply with applicable Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Army (DA), and Fort McCoy regulations and guidance.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be one base year followed by four option years, with an option to extend services for an additional six months.
