Utility Building Exterior & Interior Wall Repairs

Background
The U.S. Government, specifically the American Consulate General in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking to award a contract for the repair and repainting of the Utility Building and associated structures.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that the facilities are maintained in good condition, aligning with the Consulate's mission to provide a safe and functional environment for its operations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Repair and paint the interior walls of the Utility Building.
2. Repair and paint the exterior walls of the Utility Building.
3. Repair and paint the exterior drywall ceilings of the SCAC and CCAC, as well as the concrete ceilings of the MCAC and SCAC Sally Port.

The contractor must provide all necessary materials, labor, tools, and equipment to perform these tasks. All work must comply with safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). The contractor is also required to keep work areas clean and tidy, removing debris daily. Any damages incurred during work must be repaired at the contractor's expense within 20 calendar days.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence within 7 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with each task expected to be completed within 30 calendar days, totaling a maximum of 90 calendar days for all tasks.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the U.S. Consulate General located in Bur Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of a valid trade license as described in Section 3 of the solicitation. They are also required to submit Defense Base Act (DBA) insurance within 10 days from award notification. Additionally, bidders must demonstrate they can provide necessary personnel for project execution without subcontracting services.
